Rafting at Iguaçu Falls: price, minimum age and how it works

Direct answer: the rafting runs inside Iguaçu National Park (Brazilian side) and costs R$ 219 per person. Departures every 20 minutes, 9am-5pm, no booking. Duration: 40 minutes to 1 hour. Minimum age: 14. The park ticket is NOT included.

How it works

The ride descends the Iguaçu River rapids in an inflatable raft with paddles, in groups of up to 10 people, with a specialized guide and a support boat. Safety gear is included, and everyone signs a risk-acknowledgment form before boarding. Closed shoes are mandatory.

Purchases above R$ 386 can be split into up to 10 installments on the official site. The National Park ticket is bought separately.

Discounts

Children 0-6 go free. Half price (50%): children 7-11, students, Brazilians 60+ and residents of the municipalities bordering the Park, always with ID (half-price rules apply to Brazilians only).
