Argentina and Brazil Open Kenya Cup U-15 in Puerto Iguazú

The match between the two teams serves as a preview of the tournament and marks the first time an Argentina–Brazil youth encounter is played in the women's category in Misiones.

Nicolás Boeri, the liaison for La Liga de Iguazú (the host club), coordinates the organization. According to him, the duel represents a significant starting point for the edition.

Among the highlights of the Argentine delegation is Paulina Ojeda, considered the main projection of women's basketball in Misiones. A product of El Coatí, she currently plays for Instituto MF in Florianópolis, and she participated in the previous edition of the Kenya Cup in the U-13 category representing her home club. Brazil is also seeking her recruitment.

After the opening game, the Kenya–Commercial Eldorado Cup continues from September 23 to 27 with contests in the U-13, U-15 and U-17 categories. According to Radio Cataratas, the tournament consolidates the Cataratas region as a reference for South American youth women's basketball and positions Misiones in a competition that expands annually.
