Airline launches seasonal flights to Porto Alegre and Recife between December and February
Azul Linhas Aéreas will operate two new seasonal routes from Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná, during the summer 2026/2027 season. From December 5 to February 14, the carrier will offer connections to Porto Alegre and Recife, while also increasing frequencies on existing routes.

The two new seasonal operations total 106 flights in both directions. The Foz do Iguaçu–Porto Alegre connection will have 62 flights with approximately 8,400 seats available, operating exclusively during the summer season. The route to Recife will include 44 flights and about 6,000 seats, linking Northeast passengers to western Paraná and providing access to 33 national and international destinations from the Pernambuco capital.
In addition to the new routes, Azul will boost frequencies on regular operations between December and February. Flights originating from or destined for Campinas (SP), Curitiba, Belo Horizonte and São Paulo will see increased frequencies during the peak season, adding a total of 148 extra connections to meet tourist demand.
The airline has also begun regularly offering pão de queijo on the onboard service of international flights departing from Brazil, in partnership with Qualycon. The product is served at breakfast and afternoon snack, with an expected consumption of roughly 48,000 units per month.
