According to engineer Rolando Ríos, after joining the two main sections, the team will work on the vertical and horizontal alignment of the structure through a cable tension system, before concreting the final segment.

The engineer said that reinforcement is already being placed and estimates that in four or five days it will be possible to concrete the last section. If the schedule is maintained, the definitive connection of the bridge will occur around July 15, with delivery scheduled for August.

Currently, the supply of materials and personnel movement to the structure occur entirely from the Paraguayan side, through temporary walkways installed over the bridge. Access from Brazil is not yet operational because work continues on the embankment and road connection that will link the bridge to Brazilian infrastructure.

The work has a main span of 350 meters, total length close to 1,400 meters and vertical clearance of 29 meters above the maximum flood level. The project is part of the Bioceanic Corridor and will allow connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans by land, facilitating regional trade and reducing transport times.
