The congress aims to strengthen the visibility of the Caminhos do Iguaçu trails in the western Paraná region, linking protected areas and municipalities through routes that cross administrative boundaries.
The Brazilian Trails Network Association organizes the event with institutional support from Iguaçu National Park, the Ministry of Environment and Climate, the Ministry of Tourism, the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), Adetur Cataratas e Caminhos, Urbia Cataratas, Itaipu Binacional and Itaipu Parquetec.
