Foz Bus Terminal records 73,100 travelers in September 2026

The International Bus Terminal of Foz do Iguaçu handled 73,100 travelers in September 2026, according to the flow panel of the Municipal Tourism Secretariat of Foz (SMTU) captured by Guia 3. Movement means the sum of boardings (passengers departing Foz) and alightings (passengers arriving in Foz) at the terminal.

Compared to September 2025, when 78,959 travelers were recorded, the movement dropped 7%. This variation may reflect changes in demand for bus travel among the Triple Frontier cities, such as Foz, Puerto Iguazú (Argentina) and Ciudad del Este (Paraguay), or adjustments in intermunicipal line schedules.

For bus travelers, the number indicates that the terminal still receives a considerable passenger flow, but with lower concentration than the previous year. This may mean slightly shorter lines at ticket counters and information desks, yet the need to check schedules and seat availability remains essential, especially during peak seasons or holidays.
