July's visitation surpassed January 2026, which had been the month with the highest tourist flow until then. Brazilians led the ranking with 174,008 visitors, followed by Argentinians (50,463), Paraguayans (3,798), Americans (3,654) and French (2,334).

Among Brazilian states, São Paulo contributed 60,757 visitors, followed by Paraná (37,495), Santa Catarina (13,107), Rio de Janeiro (9,614) and Minas Gerais (9,250).

The visitation peak coincided with the July school holidays in Brazil and Argentina. The park extended the operating hours of its experiences until August 2 to align with the Argentine holiday calendar.

In addition to admiring the waterfalls, the park offered sunrise and sunset tours, night-sky observation, and self-guided trails in the Atlantic Forest, along with dining options. Iguazu National Park is managed by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio), with tourism administration by the concessionaire Urbia+Cataratas.
