Consecration ceremony of the Diocese to Saint Michael the Archangel gathered communities on a walk along the main avenues
More than 15,000 participants walked the streets of Foz do Iguaçu on Sunday morning (August 30) during the 20th Diocesan Pilgrimage. The event marked the consecration of the Diocese to Saint Michael the Archangel.

The procession began at Praça do Mitre and ended at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe, located in Vila A. Along the route, the faithful carried the images of Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint John the Baptist, praying the rosary and singing religious hymns.
Catechists, youth groups, and priests of the Diocese joined the walk. Throughout the route, participants had access to the sacrament of confession. Upon arriving at the Cathedral, a solemn celebration concluded the program.
