Parque das Aves surpasses 500k Instagram followers

The institution maintains active profiles on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and RedNote (Xiaohongshu), distributing material produced in Foz do Iguaçu to audiences in Brazil and abroad.

The Instagram profile was created in April 2013 and has become one of the main channels for the park’s interaction with visitors and bird enthusiasts. Content includes curiosities about species, behavior recordings, behind-the-scenes of the teams, handling practices, environmental enrichment, rehabilitation, chick births, conservation projects, and information about the Atlantic Forest. Formats include short videos, photographs, explanatory carousels, and thematic series.

In 2025, the content published by the park reached more than 11 million people, according to the institution. The digital presence serves as a tool for raising awareness about conservation: an image of a bird feeding or a newly hatched chick can spark curiosity and lead to understanding of the species, its habitat, and preservation challenges.

Social-media work complements the on-site experience at the park, where visitors walk an immersive trail through the Atlantic Forest. Many discover the attraction through social media before traveling to Foz do Iguaçu, and the in-person visit, restaurant consumption, and souvenir-shop purchases contribute to the continuity of the private institution’s operations.

The park celebrated the 500,000-follower milestone with an internal celebration, recognizing the participation of the different teams in daily content production.
