According to monitoring by Marco Três, over the 30‑day period the purchasing power of the real increased 1.3 % in Argentina, making purchases in Argentine pesos more advantageous for those crossing the border. This appreciation reflects a real that “earned more” in exchange‑rate terms, facilitating the acquisition of products and services on the Argentine side of the triple border.

In Paraguay, the scenario was opposite: the real slipped 1.0 % against the guaraní, which may slightly reduce the purchasing power of Brazilians shopping in Ciudad del Este. Despite the decline, the variation remains moderate, allowing consumers to plan their trips based on both currencies.
