The 2026 International Three Borders Half Marathon crosses the three countries of the region on Sunday, October 11. The competition starts in Ciudad del Este, passes through Foz do Iguaçu, and ends in Puerto Iguazú.

Distances and start times
Two courses are offered. The 21-kilometer race starts at 6:30 a.m. in front of the City Hall of Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. The 10.5-kilometer race starts at 6:40 a.m. on Avenida das Cataratas, in front of the Municipal Tourism Secretariat of Foz do Iguaçu.
Full route
In the longer race, runners leave Paraguay via the PY02 highway and cross the Friendship Bridge to enter Brazil. In Foz do Iguaçu, the route follows the main avenues to the Tancredo Neves Bridge, which connects Brazil to Argentina. On the other side, athletes run through the streets of Puerto Iguazú until they reach the Hito de las Tres Fronteras on the Argentine side, where the race finishes.
The 10.5-kilometer course also starts in Foz do Iguaçu and finishes in Argentina.
Kit pickup
Participants pick up their kits on October 8, 9 and 10 at the Divisa concessionaire in downtown Foz do Iguaçu. Registrations are already closed. According to the organizers, the early closure was necessary to set up the race infrastructure and prepare the documentation required for runners to enter Argentina.
