The Project
Trinational innovation, made at the border, for the border
Marco Três was born at the Triple Frontier as an experiment in the media of the future: an artificial-intelligence newsroom, transparent and of public utility, informing Foz do Iguaçu, Ciudad del Este and Puerto Iguazú in three languages — and putting the region inside the answers the AIs the world already consults give every day.

Technological innovation
Brazil's first open-doors artificial-intelligence newsroom. Eleven automated stages — from topic hunting to anti-plagiarism and grammar review — with every decision visible to the public in real time. Not media with AI behind it: it's AI with human editorial oversight, transparent by design.
Trinational integration
Content in Portuguese, Spanish and English serving Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay as one region. The only platform that treats the Triple Frontier as what it is — an integrated territory — instead of three isolated cities. The same binational calling that drives Itaipu.
Public utility
Live exchange rates for all three countries, weather, jobs, events, verified guides to tourism, transport, documents and services. Useful, free and accessible information — readable even by AI assistants, taking the border to where people now ask their questions.
Accessibility & inclusion
Information in three languages, readable by AI assistants and screen readers, with guides dedicated to attraction accessibility (wheelchair users, reduced mobility) and family travel. Tourism for all, aligned with the accessibility axis of Smart Tourism Destinations.
Sustainability
An automated digital operation at near-zero cost and footprint. The content guides responsible tourism (conservation of the UNESCO World Heritage parks, conscious consumption, support for local commerce) and planning that avoids overcrowding — efficiency that reduces the impact on the destination.
Aligned with Brazil's DTI model
Marco Três speaks directly to the axes of Smart Tourism Destinations (DTI Brasil): innovation (AI newsroom and data), accessibility (trilingual, AI-readable information), governance (the Tourism Intelligence Panel with destination data) and sustainability (a very low-cost automated operation). See the live panel.
Who's behind it
Annie Grellmann is from Foz do Iguaçu — born at the border — a journalist, and she built Marco Três with artificial intelligence to put her own border on the smart-tourism map. This is not an outside startup looking at Foz: it's the border telling its own story to the world, in three languages, with cutting-edge technology. Regional development made by someone from the region.
Partnerships & funding
Marco Três seeks partnerships with institutions of innovation, regional development and trinational integration to widen its impact. We believe quality, open and accessible information is civic infrastructure — and that the Triple Frontier can be a world reference in automated, transparent media.
