Pavement works in the Recanto Cataratas area alter traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The concessionaire EPR Iguaçu began on Thursday (13) pavement-recovery work on BR-277 in Foz do Iguaçu, with partial closures and temporary detours from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. until Wednesday (19). No work is scheduled for Sunday (16).

The interventions take place at the roundabout and the viaduct at km 726, in the Recanto Cataratas area. In this first phase, the focus is on the access ramp to Sérgio Gasparetto Street.

Drivers heading toward Cascavel who need to enter that street must use the marginal road, accessing it from a point located a few meters before the closed ramp.

The work includes milling and applying a new layer of asphalt. The concessionaire works in short sections and in stages to keep traffic flowing whenever safety conditions allow. Reinforced temporary signage will indicate closures and alternative routes.

The operation was planned together with the Federal Highway Police (PRF). Drivers should travel attentively, obey the signs and follow the instructions of on-site crews. In case of rain or adverse weather, the schedule may change.

For emergencies, EPR Iguaçu provides medical and mechanical assistance via 0800 277 0163 (also available on WhatsApp).
