The matches will be held at the Costa Cavalcanti Gymnasium. The teams will compete in a single round-robin format, with the team that accumulates the most points lifting the trophy.

Among the participants, Mackenzie, Londrina and Sesi Bauru already compete in the elite of national volleyball. Brusque will debut in Superliga A in the 2026/27 season after winning Superliga B in 2025/26.

The current champion, Sesc RJ Flamengo, will not take part in this edition as preparation for the next season.

Other teams are also preparing for the Superliga: Minas, Osasco and Fluminense will contest the Brazil Cup in September at the Mangueirinho Gymnasium in Belém, Pará, a tournament that will also feature Alianza Lima from Peru. The format will be a short-draw, with single-match semifinals and final.
