Chamber of Commerce launches 15th edition of the event that draws shoppers from the entire Triple Frontier
The Chamber of Commerce and Services of Ciudad del Este, in Paraguay, officially announced the 2026 edition of the Ciudad del Este Black Friday for November 19-22. The event, in its 15th consecutive edition, brings together hundreds of stores with discounts on electronics, perfumes, clothing, IT and other products.
The launch took place on Thursday (July 23) and was attended by municipal authorities, representatives of the Alto Paraná departmental government, businesspeople and public and private institutions.
According to Said Taigen, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Services of Ciudad del Este, the campaign’s continuity for 15 years demonstrates the strength of the partnership between the public and private sectors in the region. Taigen said the Black Friday drives local commerce, attracts visitors and solidifies Ciudad del Este as one of South America’s main shopping destinations.
The entity offers an incentive for new memberships: companies that join the Chamber during the campaign period will receive a waiver of the first monthly fee. The event expects to receive shoppers from Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay looking for promotions over the four days.
