Diocese invites community to night walk and bike pilgrimage celebrating 400 years of evangelization
The Diocese of Puerto Iguazú is holding the XXXIX Diocesan Pilgrimage on the night of Friday, August 14, departing at 10 p.m. from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Puerto Libertad. The following day, Saturday August 15, the II Bike Pilgrimage will start at 4 a.m., also from the same parish.

The faith walk follows the motto "400 years evangelizing with Mary" and gathers hundreds of faithful on a route to the Santa Maria of Iguazú Sanctuary, in a journey of prayer and spiritual renewal.
In the bike pilgrimage, cyclists can join at different points along the route according to the distance they wish to cover: Puerto Libertad (40 km), Gendarmería (32 km), Puerto Península (17 km) and Desvío Iguazú (8 km). The cycling slogan is "Pedal with faith, arrive with the heart."
Both events are part of the celebrations of 400 years of evangelization with Mary in the region and aim to bring families, youth and adults together in a spirit of faith and community. The Diocese invites the community to prepare and take part in this edition.
