Work has already begun. The team from the concessionaire IP Foz do Iguaçu, responsible for municipal public lighting, is replacing stolen equipment and fixing defective points on both sections. Where the diagnosis indicates critical situations, the City Hall will assess the installation of new lighting points.
According to the municipality’s Public Lighting Director, Pedro Rodrigues, the action takes into account the importance of these roads for local mobility and tourism, seeking to ensure better quality of life and safety for users during nighttime.
