Rural producers have until July 27 to register and supply products to social assistance entities
The City Hall of Foz do Iguaçu is accepting registrations from family farmers for the Food Acquisition Program until July 27. Selected participants will provide fresh food to entities that serve people in social vulnerability.

The Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, Labor and Agriculture coordinates the registration process under the Simultaneous Purchase with Donation (CDS) modality. The goal is to strengthen local production while supplying municipal social assistance organizations.
How to register
Interested parties must go in person to the Municipal Secretariat of Economic Development, Labor and Agriculture, located at Rua Marechal Floriano Peixoto, 1,288, downtown, alongside the Rural Union.
Required documents: personal identification, National Registry of Family Agriculture (CAF) and CAD/PRO. Producers of family agro‑industries must also present a Certificate of Registration with the Federal Inspection Service (SIF), State (SIE) or Municipal (SIM).
Program priorities
The call gives preference to farmers registered in the Unified Registry (CadÚnico), Indigenous peoples, quilombolas, traditional peoples and communities, Black individuals, women, agrarian reform settlers, artisanal fishers, and youth aged 18 to 29.
