City hall invests R$ 160k in structural upgrades and preventive actions
The Urban Transport Terminal (TTU) in Foz do Iguaçu underwent a complete repaint, replacement of toilets and faucets in recent months. The City Hall invested about R$ 160,000 in the set of improvements, with R$ 120,000 already applied and an additional R$ 40,000 for complementary actions.

The maintenance marks the first major investment in the terminal since 2022. Teams from the Municipal Works Department carried out painting in internal areas, external areas and sidewalks, as well as renovating the women's and men's restrooms.
The TTU handles between 14,000 and 15,000 passengers daily and serves as the main urban mobility hub for public transport in the city.
Enhanced security
In addition to the physical upgrades, the City Hall intensified security actions at the terminal. Teams from the Municipal Social Assistance and Public Safety Departments conduct preventive patrols at strategic times: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 p.m. to midnight.
The Specialized Social Approach Service (SEAS) operates every day, providing guidance and monitoring for people in vulnerable situations. The Municipal Guard’s video‑monitoring system assists in continuous oversight of the space.
