The first phase of the revitalization involves a complete replacement of the lighting system on the avenues, trails, and internal garden beds, as well as interventions on sidewalks and accesses around the area. The investment for this phase totals R$ 957.471,52.

The Guarani Forest is situated near the Urban Transport Terminal, a constant passage point for residents, tourists, and visitors. The site is recognized as one of the most traditional spaces in Foz do Iguaçu and preserves remnants of the Atlantic Forest. Currently, the forest also serves as a venue for environmental education activities.

The contractor IP Foz carries out the work under the supervision of the municipal Public Lighting Directorate. The project is part of the "Foz City Illuminated" program. According to the municipal administration, the new lighting aims to reduce the feeling of insecurity at night and encourage greater foot traffic through the forest.
