Iguazú Argentina renovates pediatric wing of SAMIC Hospital

The renovation includes ten rooms for patients and companions, each with its own bathroom, as well as a doctors' and treatment room, a nursing station, and the construction of a lactarium. The project involves a complete overhaul of walls, floors, ceilings, electrical and plumbing systems.

The action is part of Iguazú Argentina S.A.'s Corporate Social Responsibility program and is being carried out through the Institutional Cooperation Framework Agreement signed with Hospital SAMIC. The agreement aims to promote health initiatives that ensure the well‑being of the local population.

Hospital SAMIC in Puerto Iguazú is a level‑3 facility with multiple medical specialties and 24‑hour emergency care. Founded in 1947, the hospital is celebrating more than 75 years of operation.

According to the company, the public‑private partnership enhances the quality of health services for both the local community and tourists visiting the region.
