Parque das Aves in Foz do Iguaçu among Paraná's top picks

With more than 30 years of operation, Parque das Aves functions as a rescue center, shelter, and conservation hub for Atlantic Forest species. The visit follows a 2-kilometer trail that passes through different environments and immersion enclosures, where visitors share the same space with the animals to observe behaviors up close.

The enclosures include Os Pequenos Marrons, Aves de Rios e Manguezais, O Mundo dos Tucanos, Cecropia, Araras, as well as a space with butterflies and hummingbirds. The route combines visitation with the work of conserving species of the biome.

Parque das Aves is located near the entrance of Parque Nacional do Iguaçu, allowing visitors to combine the two experiences in the same itinerary.
