Parque das Aves in Foz do Iguaçu among top experiences in Paraná

With more than 30 years of operation, Parque das Aves functions as a rescue center, shelter, and conservation hub for Atlantic Forest species. The visit follows a 2-kilometer trail that passes through different habitats and immersion enclosures, where visitors enter the same space as the animals to observe behaviors up close.

The enclosures include The Little Browns, River and Mangrove Birds, The World of Toucans, Cecropia, Macaws, as well as an area with butterflies and hummingbirds. The route combines visitation with conservation work for biome species.

The park is located near the entrance to Iguaçu National Park, allowing visitors to combine the two experiences in the same itinerary. While the National Park offers contemplation of expressive natural scenery, Parque das Aves brings visitors close to the species and showcases conservation efforts.

The Gastronomic Complex brings together three venues: Sabores da Floresta Restaurant (at the end of the trail, with a concept that highlights Brazilian ingredients and regional references), Café da Praça (before or after the walk) and Bistrô da Mata (a pause during the visit). At the end, there is a souvenir shop with products related to the species and the park.

The attraction welcomes diverse audiences — families, children, groups of friends and individual visitors — not only couples, as indicated by the Tripadvisor list.
