Parque das Aves offers free admission in October

Parque das Aves, located at Av. das Cataratas, km 17, in Foz do Iguaçu, will mark its 32nd anniversary in October. To celebrate, the park is providing free admission for residents of Foz do Iguaçu for the entire month. The free entry is valid only for those who can prove residence in the municipality by presenting a photo ID and an up-to-date proof of residence, such as a water bill, electricity bill, fixed-line internet bill, or voter registration card.

In addition to free admission, October also marks the opening of the Animal Health Complex, inaugurated in September. The 750-square-meter facility took two and a half years to complete and includes a laboratory, radiography room, veterinary clinic with surgical center, animal nutrition area, and neonatology. Some rooms have glass walls facing the trail, allowing visitors to watch the teams at work during the tour.

Parque das Aves has, over its 32 years, maintained a focus on the conservation of Atlantic Forest species and the care of rescued animals.

To guarantee free entry, visitors must present at the ticket office an official photo ID and one of the up-to-date proof-of-residence documents listed above. The documentation must confirm residence in Foz do Iguaçu.
