Binational manager and leader discuss strategic projects
The president of Paraguay met with the general director of Itaipu Binacional to assess the progress of works and strategic projects of the institution. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment to transform energy into development and well-being for Paraguayans.

The Presidency of the Republic reported on the working meeting between the leader and the binational director. During the meeting, both analyzed the progress of ongoing initiatives.
In his third annual management report presented to the National Congress on July 1st, the president highlighted projects in security, health, education, road infrastructure and early childhood, financed with resources from Itaipu's socio-environmental spending.
The president mentioned the "Seeds of the Future" program, which assists people in vulnerable situations from birth, also funded by the binational. Additionally, he highlighted Itaipu's support for the Paraguay Government's Scholarship Program, which finances university and technical training. According to the leader, the initiative reached 20,000 students.
