The yellow fever vaccine is recommended for those visiting Foz do Iguaçu and the region, which is on the Ministry of Health's list of areas with a recommendation — although there are no cases in the city. For one-day shopping trips to Ciudad del Este a certificate is usually not required; for longer stays in Paraguay, the international certificate may be requested.
In Brazil (Foz): it is not an entry requirement, but Foz is on the Ministry of Health's list of areas with a recommendation for the yellow fever vaccine. Get it at least 10 days before your trip.
