The 21st International Book Fair in Foz do Iguaçu concluded on Sunday (6) with about 35,000 people attending over the four days of programming. Saturday (5) saw the highest turnout, with 20,000 visitors.

On Sunday, the final day of the event, 5,800 people visited the Fair. The program catered to different audiences with attractions for children, youth, adults, and families, including literature, culture, art, knowledge, gastronomy, crafts, and music.
The event offered more than 80 free activities, such as workshops, concerts, and cultural performances. Visitors could meet new authors, purchase books, exchange previously read titles, and explore local crafts. The JK Little Fair also operated during the event days.
Free workshops allowed children, youth, and adults to develop new skills. The space featured more than 10 tents gathering thousands of works for sale at various prices and across different fields of knowledge.
The musical program included shows by Roberta Campos and the Jovem Dionísio Band. The fair also hosted meetings between readers and writers with the launch of several books.
Ruth Rocha, a renowned author of children’s and young adult literature, was honored in this edition. Waldson de Almeida Dias, professor, writer, and researcher, received the title of honorary ambassador of the event.
The Fair was organized by the Prefeitura de Foz do Iguaçu and the Cultural Foundation, with support from Itaipu Parquetec, Marco das 3 Fronteiras, and Associação Onças do Bem.
