Iguazu Falls and Bird Park set visitation record in July

Iguazu Falls, on the Brazilian side, welcomed 263,150 visitors in July 2026, from the 1st to the 31st. It was the highest monthly visitation in the history of Iguazu National Park, according to the park itself, surpassing the previous record of January 2026, with an increase of 20% compared to July 2025 (219,216). Brazilians led with 174,008 visitors, followed by Argentinians (50,463) and Paraguayans (3,798).

Parque das Aves, in Foz do Iguaçu, had 125,114 visitors in the month, a July record in its series (up 10.3% from 2025). Marco das Três Fronteiras recorded 80,309 visitors, its best July ever (up 27.6% in the same comparison).

The Falls numbers come from Iguazu National Park (concessionaire Urbia); those for Parque das Aves and Marco das Três Fronteiras come from the municipal tourism observatory (SMTU Foz / DVEET). The compilation is by Marco Três.

July concentrates winter holidays across the three border countries, which usually pushes visitation to its annual peak. On the dam side, Turismo Itaipu had already reported 76,200 visitors in July, a record for its visitation circuit.
