According to Sheila Domingues, head of the Statistics and Tourist Studies Division of SMTU, the data confirm the consolidation of Foz do Iguaçu as a destination with strong demand and stable occupancy during long-holiday periods. Tourism Secretary Jin Petrycoski attributed the performance to continuous tourism promotion and integration among sector stakeholders.
