Iguaçu Falls and the Bird Park hit a July visitation record

Iguaçu Falls, on the Brazilian side, drew 263,150 visitors in July 2026, between the 1st and the 31st. It was the largest monthly visitation in the history of Iguaçu National Park, according to the park itself, beating the previous record set in January 2026, a 20% rise over July 2025 (219,216). Brazilians led with 174,008 visitors, followed by Argentines (50,463) and Paraguayans (3,798).

Parque das Aves (the Bird Park) in Foz do Iguaçu had 125,114 visitors for the month, a July record in its series (up 10.3% from 2025). The Marco das Três Fronteiras (Three Borders Landmark) totaled 80,309 visitors, its best July on record (up 27.6% on the same basis).

The Falls figures come from Iguaçu National Park (operator Urbia); those for Parque das Aves and the Three Borders Landmark come from the city tourism observatory (SMTU Foz / DVEET). The compilation is by Marco Três.

July concentrates the winter break across the three border countries, which usually pushes visitation to the year's peak. On the dam side, Itaipu Tourism had already reported 76,200 visitors in July, a record for its visitation circuit.
