Joint Commission changes circulation starting August 3
The Joint Commission of the Integration Bridge announced changes in the operation of the bridge that connects Presidente Franco (Paraguay) and Foz do Iguaçu (Brazil). The changes take effect on August 3 and affect the transport of cargo and passengers.

Smaller cargo transport
Empty trucks (in ballast) can enter and exit exclusively via the Integration Bridge between 7am and 7pm. Return with cargo must be made via the Friendship Bridge.
International urban passenger transport
Buses on the Presidente Franco–Foz do Iguaçu line are permitted to use the Integration Bridge for both outbound and return trips between 7am and 7pm. It is mandatory to present the Frontier Border Vehicle Transit Document, in accordance with Article II of the Agreement on Linked Border Localities of Mercosur.
Closed circuit and regular lines
Passenger transport in closed circuit (with no final destination in Ciudad del Este or Foz do Iguaçu) operates 24 hours via the Integration Bridge. The same applies to international regular lines.
Extended hours for trucks
Empty trucks can now cross the Integration Bridge between 8:30pm and 5am, a measure to optimize vehicle flow in the border region.
