The region positions itself as the National Capital of Biodiversity, with easy access via the airports of Posadas and Iguazú, as well as the Foz do Iguaçu airport as an alternative entry and exit point.
International visitor flow intensified after the winter vacation period ended. Iguazú National Park records a daily average of over 3,000 entries, with international tourism accounting for 50%-55% of total visitors, while domestic tourism makes up about 25%.
