International campaign reaches U.S. and Canadian markets in the first half of 2026
The Brasil DNA 2026 campaign recorded more than 870,000 views among North American travel agents in the first half of the year, with investments from the Municipal Tourism Secretariat of Foz do Iguaçu, Visit Iguassu and Fundo Iguaçu. The program runs until November with new promotion and relationship actions.

The initiative combined communication, relationship and business actions to bring Foz do Iguaçu closer to travel agents, operators and professionals in the North American market.
In addition to the views, the campaign distributed about 95,000 newsletters with average open rates between 36% and 47%, above the market average. In the press and specialized media, the content reached an estimated potential audience of 61.8 million people, generating more than 43,000 interactions and 579 expressions of interest.
Three in-person business rounds were held in Los Angeles and Chicago, United States, and Toronto, Canada, gathering 177 tourism-sector professionals. Petterson Gherlandi, Marketing Director of the Tourism Secretariat of Foz do Iguaçu, participated in the meetings.
For the second half of the year, webinars are planned featuring tourist attractions, travel agencies and accommodation providers associated with Visit Iguassu. According to Wolney Biesdorf, President of Visit Iguassu, participation in the program is essential to keep Foz do Iguaçu competitive in the United States and Canadian markets.
