The result was driven by the Itaipu Special tour, with demand more than 30% higher than in July 2019, and by the Bela Vista Biological Refuge, which also drew more visitors. The dam continues modernizing Itaipu Illuminated, switching its lighting to LED.
"This result is the outcome of consistent planning that placed the visitor at the center of our decisions," said Itaipu's Tourism Director, Yuri Benites.
