• Weekdays: median delay climbs to +30 to +39 minutes between 17:00 and 18:00, easing only around 20:30.

Pix is now the simplest option. Since December 2025, Argentine wallets let you scan a Brazilian merchant's QR code: the amount appears in reais with the peso equivalent before you confirm, debited instantly. According to the kamiPay Monitor of December 2025, 61% of Argentines travelling to Brazil already use Pix, ahead of cash (49%) and cards (45.7%).

Cards improved too: the Impuesto PAÍS expired at the end of 2025, so foreign purchases no longer carry that extra 30%.
